Your post made me smile. I've had to clear the decks because I have a 10 month old who grabs everything! Not wishing her life away but bring on the day when I can re-fill my window sills, coffee tables and units!

Oh Caroline that's exactly why we ended up getting the glass fronted CD racks. When our eldest son was a baby he used to sit in a pile of CDs he'd pulled off the bookshelves, cute but ultimately destructive, Bestie Boys' 'Paul's Boutique' never really recovered.
I love your pics, inspired me to take some of the shelf we reclaimed in our kitchen this last weekend now that we have a sideboard for all the kids art stuff.
yes, I love lots of stuff, the only way to do it is shelve shelve shelve. I have shelves in every room. Not as neat as yours, and more dusty, but hey!

Our CD shelving has gone, replaced by a rather boring iTunes library and more wall space.
