Collecting

I am a magpie, shiny shiny pretty things make me go funny.....in a good way.
I like collecting blue things and green things. I put these blue things and green things in my kitchen.
I sometimes watch Antiques Roadshow and imagine making a bazillion quid from a junk shop find but I know if push came to shove I would find it really hard to let one of my blue or green things go. I actually only ever spend a few pounds and always buy things I love. These are my latest purchases. I am sure most people find this sort of thing a bit ugly which is great for me because it means I can buy them quite cheaply.
Hurrah for collecting.

The coffee pot and the glass jar I bought in *The Most Marvellous Place To Shop* in Northampton, the little teal covered jar I bought in *Brackley Antiques Cellar*. Two of my favourite places to buy shiny shiny treasure.

Love the coffee pot! I've not heard of the The Most Marvellous Place To Shop before, I will have to check it out. It looks really fun!

It's just opposite the Jaguar garge in Abington Square, I think it used to be a rug and furniture place. It's really cute, all sectioned off so small traders can sell their antiques, vintage and bric a brac. They have a little tea shop and the stock turnover is good so there's always something new to look at. Hurrah!
